Welcome April!! I’ve decided to keep offering my free downloadable desktop wallpaper calendars of my artwork every month.
April’s calendar has a photo featured from the Keukenhof in Holland.
Hopefully April will bring out the sun and the warmth that has been trying to elude us. I think most of March I heard of it snowing some where. Here in Germany it was rainy most of the time. I am looking forward to a little bit of sunshine so I can go out adventuring again!
The Keukenhof is Holland’s Tulip festival. Last month I talked about my trip to the Netherlands and featured a photo of some Dutch windmills, this was from my same trip. The Keukenhof was a great visit. It is a park just full of all different flowers in any color you can imagine. Right in the middle is a little stream the just makes the whole a little slice of heaven. It was really worth seeing. I have never seen so many different kinds of flowers in my life. So much beauty that I filled my memory card up with almost all flowers! I did write a little blog about my visit a while back, if you want like to read that click here. I am actually planning to back this month to visit Amsterdam and Keukenhof again, so exciting.
